Sequences real time art festival is taking place for the seventh time in Reykjavík, April 10-19, 2015. Sequences VII presents a spectrum of video installations, screenings, performances and discussions centered on the theme of ‘Plumbing', that is, a network of parts that carries content from A to B and is barely noticed unless it is absent or breaks down, triggering a crisis. The paradoxes of contemporary society condensed in a single word, plumbing.
The festival presents the work of 26 local and international artists in 10 different venues around Reykjavík. In the National Gallery/Ásgrímur Jónsson Collection works by David Kefford, TV Painting (2009), and Dagrún Aðalsteinsdóttir, U to O, 2014, Let's be (2012), will be exhibited.
Opening: April 12, 16.00
