It’s wet outside!
We’re so lucky to have all kinds of weather here in Iceland. Even on the same day! A fun workshop on the House of Collection’s fourth floor where you can find a storm happening high up on a plinth, create cloud images and locate as many different weather systems as you can. We’ll pull all your observations into one image in the exhibition’s educational space.

Prints by Richard Hamilton in the collection of the National Gallery of Iceland.
The National Gallery of Iceland recently received a donation of eight prints by Richard Hamilton, one of the pioneers of Pop Art.
These works, generously gifted by his widow, artist Rita Donagh, belong to a series Hamilton created between 1948 and 1998. The series serves as an artistic interpretation of one of the greatest masterpieces in world literature, Ulysses, by the Irish author James Joyce (1882–1941).
