Come and create in the museum's new art workshop. A variety of mixed media materials are available, including canvas painting, watercolors, found materials, and innovative art creation techniques.

The Iceland Dance Company at the National Gallery of Iceland on Culture Night
The Iceland Dance Company, in collaboration with choreographer Rósa Ómarsdóttir, will present a live dance installation in the exhibitions Multipolar by Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir and Borealis by Steina.

Ask the Artist: Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir
On Culture Night, the public has the opportunity to ask artist Anna Rún Tryggvadóttir questions related to her current exhibition at the National Gallery of Iceland, Multipolar. Gudný Guðmundsdóttir, owner of Gudmundsdottir Gallery, will moderate the artist talk.

Guided Tour in English of Borealis by Steina and Loop by Tumi Magnússon
Exhibition curator Pari Stave will provide a guided tour of the museum's exhibitions at Fríkirkjuvegur on Culture Night.

Games and Art Creation at the House of Collections
Resistance is an interdisciplinary exhibition for children of all ages, that bridges the gap between visual arts and science. The exhibition offers a variety of activities. In every corner of the exhibition, there are creative projects and interactive games for children and families to enjoy together, along with gems from the
collection of the National Gallery of Iceland.

Benni Hemm Hemm's Women's Choir
Benni Hemm Hemm & The Choir were a hit at Tjarnarbíó earlier this year where all performances were sold out. At the concert on Culture Night, you will be able to hear songs that have never been performed before, mixed with some of the Choir's greatest hits.

Concert with Kári Egilsson
Musician Kári Egilsson will play piano in the old Reading Room of the House of Collections, performing his own compositions and works by others.

The Use of Color in the Works of Ásgrímur Jónsson
Visual artist Eygló Harðardóttir will guide visitors through the exhibition Window in Reykjavík, with a special focus on the use of color and color theory in the artist's works.
