Halloween Movie Night for Kids at the National Gallery of Iceland!

You are warmly invited to a frightfully fun movie night at the Workshop on Fríkirkjuvegur – complete with real cinema popcorn and Halloween vibes!

In collaboration with Bíó Paradís, we’ll be showing the film Nelly Rapp: Monster Agent (2020) – a true adventure film where ghosts, vampires, and werewolves run wild! The movie is dubbed in Icelandic and is not recommended for children under 9 years old.

We’ll press play at 7:30 PM, so be sure to arrive a bit earlier to get comfortable and grab some popcorn. For older visitors, it's a great chance to explore the anniversary exhibition: Looking Inward, Looking Outward: 140 years of the National Gallery of Iceland, which fills all the galleries.

For those looking to treat themselves, Kaktus Espressobar café (that‘s located on the first floor) will offer a special Halloween deal on soup and a glass of wine for the grown ups and hot chocolate and waffles for the kids.
